The XGN2-12 case-type fixed metal closed switchgear (switch cabinet for short) is applied to accept and distribute the electric energy in the system with the voltage of 12kV or below and three-phase AC frequency of 50Hz, especially applicable to the occasion with frequent operation. Its bus system is a single bus and the single bus with branch and double bus structure can be derived. This switch cabinet complies with the requirements of the national standard of GB3906 3-35kV AC Metal Closed Switchgear and international standard of IEC298 and has the locking functions of "five preventions".
The main switch of this switch cabinet uses the AN28A-10 series vacuum breaker and SN10-10 oil-minimum breaker equipped with the CD10 series and CD17 series electromagnetisms as well as CT8 series and CT17/CT19 series spring operation mechanisms. According to the user requirements, the ZN28-10 and ZN73 etc. unitary breakers can be used. The series products such as GN30-10 rotary disconnecting switch, GN22-10 disconnecting switch with strong current and GN30-10 rotary disconnecting switch with strong current may be used for the disconnecting switch.

Product Structure
This switch cabinet has the metal closed case type structure and the cabinet frame is welded by the angle iron. The cabinet is divided into the breaker room, bus room, relay room and the small bus room can be designed on the relay room. The rooms are isolated by the steel plates.
Breaker Room
The breaker room is located below the cabinet and the breaker transmission is connected by the pull road and operation mechanism. The lower wiring terminal of the breaker is connected with the current transformer, while the current transformer is connected with the wiring terminal of the lower disconnecting switch. The upper wiring terminal of the breaker is connected with the wiring terminal of the upper disconnecting switch. The pressure release channel is set in the breaker room. If there is arc, the gas pressure can be released through the exhaust duct.
Bus Room
The bus room is located at the rear upper part of the cabinet. In order to reduce the cabinet height, the bus is arranged with the stagger and supported by the ceramic insulator with the bending strength of 7,350N. The bus is connected with the wring terminal of the upper disconnecting switch.
Cable Room
The cable room is located at the rear of the lower part of the cabinet. The monitoring device can be set for the supporting insulator in the cable room and the cable is fixed on the support. When the main wiring is the contact plan, the room is the contact bus room.
Breaker Operating Mechanism
The breaker operating mechanism is located on the left of the front. The operation and interlocking mechanism of the disconnecting switch is above it.
The switch cabinet has double-sided maintenance. Maintain the secondary component of the relay room in front side, maintain the operation mechanism, mechanical interlocking, transmission part and breaker. Maintain the main bus and cable terminal in the rear. The floodlights are installed in the breaker room and cable room. The grounding copper bus which is parallel to the cabinet width direction is set below the front door and its cross-section area is 4×40mm2.
Mechanical Interlocking
In order to prevent the charged disconnecting switch connection and disconnection; prevent the break mis-connection and mis-disconnection; prevent to enter the charge compartment; prevent the charged connection of the grounding switch; prevent the connection of the grounding switch. The corresponding mechanical interlocking is used for the switch cabinet. Various action procedures of the mechanical interlocking are as follows:
Outage operation (operation →maintenance)
The switch cabinet is at the operating position, i.e. the upper and lower disconnecting switches and breaker are in the connection state. The switches of the front and rear doors are locked and in the charged operation. The small handle is at the operating position. The outage operation must be carried out in strict accordance with the following order:
Breaker disconnection;
Switch the small handle to the "disconnection and locking" position; now the breaker cannot be connected;
Plug the operating handle into the handle hole of the lower disconnecting switch, pull it from top to bottom toward the disconnection position of the lower disconnecting switch and take down the operating handle;
Plug the handle into the handle hole of the upper disconnecting switch, pull it from bottom to top toward the disconnection position of the upper disconnecting switch;
Take down the operating handle, plug it into the handle hole of the grounding switch, push it from bottom to top to make the grounding switch at the connection position;
Switch the small handle to the "maintenance" position, first open the front door, take out the procedure lock key and open the rear door and outage operation is completed. The maintenance personnel can maintain the breaker and cable room.
Power supply operation (maintenance→operation)
Close and lock the rear door; Close the front door after taking out the key; Switch the small handle to the disconnection and locking position from the maintenance position. Now the front door is locked; The breaker cannot be connected. Plug the operating handle into the handle hole of the grounding switch, pull it from top to bottom to make the grounding switch at the disconnection position;
After taking down the operating handle, plug it into the handle hole of the disconnecting switch, push it from bottom to top to make it at the connection position;
Take down the operating handle, plug it into the handle hole of the lower disconnecting switch, push it from bottom to top to make it at the connection position;
Take out the operating handle and switch the small handle to the operating position. Now the breaker can be connected.
Maintenance
After the switch cabinet is put into operation, the monitoring and maintenance work is as follows:
1.Observe the main bus and bus at the electric connection position. The bus should be maintained if it is overheated or has color change;
2.Observe whether the lighting, control and signal power supplies can be normally powered on;
3.Record the action times of the breaker;
Maintenance:
The switch cabinet maintenance is divided into the fault maintenance and regular maintenance. The fault maintenance is to prevent the operation with fault and accident expansion. When the accident is found or it can be asserted that the accident is bound to occur, immediately maintain the position with fault for timely troubleshooting. The regular maintenance is carried out on time according to the operation regulations. The maintenance contents are as follows:
1.Wipe the dust on all positions, especially that on the insulating surface;
2.Maintain the procedure lock and mechanical interlocking. The action should be flexible and reliable and the procedure is correct;
3.Carry out the maintenance and debugging according to the regulations on the electrical appliances such as breaker, disconnecting switch and operating mechanism etc;
4.Check whether the contact positions of the electrical appliances have good contact and detect the grounding loop to maintain the continuous conduction;
5.Fasten all screws and pins.
Operation, Acceptance and Storage
1.After passing the factory inspection, the product can be packed and delivered. When being packed, the product is fixed on the base bar with the screws. During transportation, the produce can be only vertically rotated, rather than inversion, turnover, rolling or dropping.
2.According to the packing list of the product, carry out acceptance for the whole cabinet and accessories etc.
3.Storage: Before being installed, the product should be stored in the warehouse with the original packaging. If it cannot be stored in the warehouse, it should be kept away from the rain to for being dampproof; the electrical components and parts should be not disassembled at random.
Vulnerable Parts, Accessories and Spare Parts
1.There should be vulnerable parts of the electrical appliances such as breaker and so on;
2.The vulnerable parts of the switch cabinet are determined by the user and manufacturer through negotiation;
3.The user can order the accessories and spare parts of the switch cabinet from the manufacturer.
Ordering Notes
1.The demander provides the main wiring plan No., single wire system diagram and arrangement diagram.
2.The schematic diagram of the secondary loop wiring, terminal arrangement diagram and the provisions of the manufacturer should be followed if there is no terminal arrangement diagram.
3.The model, specification and quantity of the electrical components in the switch cabinet.
4.Material and specification of the main bus and branch bus, otherwise they should be supplied according to the provisions of the manufacturer.
5.It should be proposed when ordering if the switch cabinet will be used in the special environmental conditions.
6.When the accessories and spare parts are required, their types and quantities should be proposed.
